Rambling River Ranch
One of the main purposes of the Father’s Heart ranch is to provide a place of peace and hope, reflecting God’s love and beauty in creation. Through the ranch and cooperation with our equine partners, we hope to encourage and strengthen the weak, ultimately leading them to our Creator God and Savior, Jesus Christ. Some of these people are physically or emotionally disturbed children. Others are women who have experienced types of abuse. Still others are deaf and blind individuals.
We see the horse as a tool, a reflection of God’s grace through His creation.
Communication with horses is something we use as an aide in the healing process.
Through the use of natural horsemanship techniques, we study the horse’s reactions and responses to us. Believing that God is our true Healer, we focus on the power, beauty and grace of God made visible through interactions with our equine partners.
In addition to serving the ‘least of these’ we also reach out to our church body, providing opportunities for fellowship and growth in service. Our ranch is designed to be a meeting place in which members of the body use their gifts in serving others. We desire to share the light of Christ to those around us who are perishing, and in need.
“For God, who said, “Light shall shine out of darkness,” is the One who has shone in our hearts to give the Light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.” 2 Corinthians 4:6
